Cloak-Cole Wedding

August 31, 2007

Kristen and Travis had a lovely and elegant affair, starting with Good Shephard United Methodist Church and moving on to The Crossings at Virginia Center. I’ve certainly enjoyed getting to know both families over the past year, but hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting Duke until the rehearsal. You’d be hard pressed to find a more charming ring bearer. See if you can spot the handsome young man in the black bow tie. Enjoy.

Kang-Hoback Wedding

August 31, 2007

Esther and Glenn came to us last year wanting a simple portrait session, a gift from her to him and something fun to do as a couple. While we certainly couldn’t take credit for them getting engaged several months later, we’d like think we helped move things along (wishful?). Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens was our venue and it was beautiful as always. Many family members came all over the nation and some all the way from Korea to join the couple on their wedding day. The pyebaek ceremony (Korean wedding tradition) was beautiful and added that certain touch to an already wonderful day. Thank you, Esther and Glenn, for making us a part of your day. Enjoy the images.

We were absolutely thrilled to be Amber’s one year anniversary present, as Jarad contacted us in secret to photograph the pleasantly pregnant Amber. It was great to see them exactly one year ago to the day (hint…we did their wedding!). Twin boys are on the way and we can’t wait to meet them. Until then, enjoy this fun session.

Tackett-Addison Wedding

Lindsay and Mark Gardner were with Kristin and Andreas for most of the day as they prepared for their Lewis Ginter Bontanical Gardens wedding. The ladies lounged and pampered themselves at home while the guys played the early hours away at Stool Pigeons in Shockoe Bottom, then at the Jefferson Hotel. There was laughter and a great deal of fun throughout the day and in to the evening. Thank you both for making us a part of an incredible engagement and a wonderful day. Enjoy.
