Annie’s Six Month Adventures

September 28, 2007

Annie has been a little busy with adventures lately. She’s been a trooper through her first “non-Mommy” feeding, her first haircut, and her first vacation away from home. Lindsay and I did a little bed-and-breakfast tour through the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. Our first stop was at Tilghman Island and the Tilghman Island Inn. It was a great start to our mini-vacation. The dinner was first class and our view of the Chesapeake Bay was outstanding. From there, we headed down Route 13 to Chincoteague Island and the Channel Bass Inn. The hospitality was incredible (you have to make it for afternoon tea and the homemade scones…we’ve never had anything like it.) Then we headed down the shore to my parent’s home, with a quick stop in Mears, VA. Who knew? There’s actually a Mears and Mearsville, separated by a country road and a railroad. A little anti-climatic considering it was really just a road, a few houses, and a general store of sorts, but it’s my namesake nonetheless. Annie spent a little time with her cousins, Emilee and Mason, in Virginia Beach to round out the four day jaunt. A big thank you to the owners and staff of the Tilghman Island Inn and the Channel Bass Inn for wonderful experiences. Watch closely for the Upstrap plug a-la-Annie. And, as always, the images are courtesy of Canon cameras and lenses. (shameless, eh?) Enjoy the slidehow!

Saunders-Wooldridge Wedding

September 27, 2007

You may remember Connie and Walter from their death-defying, rock climbing engagement session a number of posts ago (no, I won’t link you. You’ll have to browse like everyone one else.) We had nothing but anticipation for this wedding and we weren’t disappointed. It was, they were, and we had…a blast. Enjoy.

Brett and Jennifer, sacrificing a football Sunday to enjoy Richmond with me, decided to do a two destination session. We tromped around the Shockoe Bottom and Canal walk area in the early afternoon, and then spent the sunset hour at Maymont Park. A great time, a great couple, and we’re happy to be a part of their wedding plans. We’ll see you both again soon!

Maynard-Rogers Wedding

We met Lindsay last year as the very able coordinator at the wedding of Marcy and Stew Emenheiser (you know, Marcie and Stew…). Well, you can imagine how surprised we were when she wanted us to document her marriage to Nick even after she got to know us. Well, we’re glad she did. We had an incredible time and continue to enjoy getting to know everyone in this circle of friends. Please enjoy the images. Lindsay and Nick, thank you so much.
