Katie and Van met up with me at the Shockoe Espresso and Tea for a little conversation before we headed out on the town. I thought I’d loosen them with some coaching and caffeine. They didn’t need either! Absolute naturals, they were. Off we went through downtown Richmond and then on to Belle Isle in the middle of the beautiful James River. Notice the versatile couple strolling casually through the streets and then fashioned up for “the wild”. Enjoy!.

Butner-Heflin Wedding

October 30, 2007

Having worked with Mindy and her mother Judy during her bridal session, we had a feeling this was going to be a fun one. We weren’t wrong. Scott and Mindy were married at Shady Grove United Methodist in Mechanicsville, VA. The day was absolutely beautiful, which was fortunate as we took the bridal party on a little tour of the Richmond State Capital. We then were off to the Omni Downtown Richmond for an elegant (and crazy!) reception. Enjoy.

Grow-McCourt Wedding

October 30, 2007

We feel a little let down now that Megan and John’s wedding is over. After the ceremony at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, we all went off to a big party and, waddya know…a reception broke out in the middle. It was seriously a great time and I don’t think the dancing stopped even during the toasts. The staff at the Renaissance Center were gracious hosts, as always, and the McCourt and Grow families are just incredible. Please enjoy.

Martin-Jivelekas Wedding

October 30, 2007

These two were giving off laid-back vibes from the moment we met at Colleen Cook’s studio. Throughout their day these two were so fun and casual, just amazing to work with and photograph. April and Adam were married at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond, VA. We were off to the Bolling-Haxall house after that for a reception/party that I’m some will be hard pressed to forget. Enjoy.
