If you’ve been following along with the studio audience, you’ll recognize Meghan and Phil from their fun/funny engagement session and then again from their September wedding of last year. They have been absolutely great to work with and very indulgent of my crazier photographic tendencies.

We did not have a chance to do a bridal session before the wedding day, so I offered Meghan and Phil the chance to have little fun in the suit and gown. I proposed we celebrate the fact that the wedding doesn’t have to end just because the wedding day is over. So, here I present to you a celebration of the every day bride and groom. Enjoy!

We could tell from the very start that we were in for a treat with Liz and Bill. Everyone was just amazing to be around and photograph. The dress went on, the limo pulled in, and off we went to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart for a beautiful ceremony. The reception was held at the elegant Country Club of Virginia, where an unusually calm and sunny day (for April in Richmond) melted in to a calm and clear night. Thank you to the Smith and Kastelberg families for being so gracious and a special thank you to Tasha Tolliver for help throughout the day. Enjoy.

Ceremony: Cathedral of the Sacred Heart
Reception: Country Club of Virginia, James River Campus
Music: Souler Coaster

Emi, Scott, and I have been talking about this idea from our very first conversation. We kicked around multiple ideas about how to creatively display the table numbers for their reception. I’ve been excited about it ever since and, when the day came, it was better than I imagined. Emi and Scott love their adopted home city of Washington, D.C. and wanted to show it off to all of their guests. Here it is for you, too.
