Christina and Brent were married in the beautiful Japanese Gardens of Maymont Park of Richmond, VA.  Guests and family flew in from around the world to share in their wedding day celebration.  We were certainly honored to be a part of the day and know (if we were only judging from their smiles!) they had a blast.  Thanks to them both, and their family and friends.  Enjoy!

Caitlin and Kevin chose St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for the ceremony and would couldn’t have been more pleased.  While we’d had the opportunity to photograph inside the more famous St. John’s across the street in Church Hill, we had no idea what a little gem this place would be.  Their beautiful ceremony and fun little portrait session in the surrounding streets of the neighborhood led us on to the Willow Oaks Country Club for the reception.  Having gotten to know these two along with many of their friends from the Cloak-Cole wedding a few years back (see Kristan and Travis a few posts down for an update on their happy status), we had no doubt as to how fun this party would be.  Enjoy!

The Wren family was nice enough to have us join Carly for her big event this September.  She did a stellar job with her readings and speech, as we expected from such a graceful and intelligent young woman.  Family and friends then moved on to the Jefferson Lakeside country club for their reception, full of dancing, games, and Carly’s very funny friends.  Enjoy!

Part 2 in our year with Jennifer, Gauri, and their beautiful son Riyaan.  I love to see the joy in new parents’ faces as their child moves through these precious early months.  See if you can pick out a theme or two from his newborn session.  Enjoy!
