A.J. and Diane came to us after we shot A.J.’s sister’s wedding on New Year’s Eve a couple of years ago. Click here to check that one out, too. It’s always great to see familiar faces and it’s certainly an honor getting invited back to work with the family after the first wedding. Lindsay and I were also excited to be returning to the beautiful Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jackson Ward. An underrated part of being a wedding photographer is getting to experience first hand the foundations of many communities, its churches. Richmond definitely has its share and few bring more rich history than this one. Following the ceremony, it was off to another Richmond foundation; the Jefferson Hotel and its newly renovated Empire ballroom. To the Jackson and Satlzburg families, we want to say thank you again for having us and we can’t wait to work with you again.
